For the first time, Engineers in Business Fellowship (EIBF) is an Official Partner of International Women in Engineering Day (#INWED23).
International Women in Engineering Day celebrates and honours the amazing work that women engineers are doing around the world to support and uplift communities. From developing innovative solutions to longstanding problems, to advancing new technologies that make our lives better, women engineers are contributing their skills and talents in countless ways.
President of EIBF, David Falzani MBE said: “As a charity that has worked for decades supporting the professional development of incredibly talented young engineers through MBA scholarships, we are delighted to be an official partner of #INWED23. Our cohort of 402 Sainsbury Management Fellows (SMFs) includes many talented female engineers who are working to improve the lives of people worldwide.
“Each year we mark the achievements of our female SMFs on INWED, so we are proud to be working more closely with Women’s Engineering Society to promote #INWED23 and to highlight the #MakeSafetySeen theme.”
As part of its commitment to #INWED23, EIBF is running a competition with Women’s Engineering Society that will see the winner paired with a female SMF as a mentor as well as receiving a bursary to attend the next annual WES Student Conference.
As part of #INWED23, Women’s Engineering Society is hosting a webinar at 12:00 BST on 23 June 2023. You can register to take part here.
